HAPPINESS PERSONIFIED Ever heard the saying life happens when you’re making plans? This week I have come to bare witness to that statement. I’m a reasonably good Christian woman who has been raised correctly in the faith, I have been taught the good values of a Christian women but somewhere down along the road I seem to have forgotten the rules and lessons that I have been taught by my Christian and biological family. It’s not that I forgot the rules on purpose I just let life happen to me like most people. I make plans and demands of God that being a Christian I know I shouldn’t but I do it any ways. I had to learn the hard way that when God sets His plans in motion I have nothing better to do than ‘Pray in the storm while rowing for shore’. I am thankful for this lesson…because it has taught me that when I was a child I thought and reasoned like a child but when I became an adult I had to put all my childish things away and start to reason like an adult. it's been a looooong time coming...so I thought I'd try something new, a short story I had to do for my journalism class, hope it makes up for the weeks of silence LOVE AND LET LIVE: ‘Something’s are just not worth holding to, some people are just not worth holding to let it or them go.
