Let it go Something’s are just not worth holding to, some people are just not worth holding to let it or them go. Open your arms wide to receive new blessings. You cannot do that if your hands or heart is constantly holding on to the things of the past, holding on to past pain or regrets of yesterday. Let it go move forward to the present and have your heart, mind and soul looking forward to the blessings of tomorrow rather than the pain, and regret of yesterday. Be happy enough in your own skin to know when to hold on to things and when to let them go. Let go of the what if’s, the shoulda, coulda and woulda’s, Open your arms wide to receive the blessings of the I have’s and I can. Stop walking backwards and start moving forward, forward to the blessings of love happiness, peace and joy. To the blessing of a new life, full of forgiveness, I love you’s and I am sorry’s. Don’t be afraid of being to swim against current because it is better to swim against the current than to cont...

life lessons learnt at my Focus church group yesterday...its ok sometimes to be just ok no need to add on to things... “I Will Wait…for You” — Janette Ikz So it seemed, that it was cool, for everyone to be in a relationship but me.. So I took matters into my own hands… and ended up with him Him who displayed the characteristics of a CHEATER, a LIAR, an ABUSER, & a THEIF So.. why was I surprised when he broke into my heart? I called 911, but I was cardiac arrested for aiding and abetting, Cause it was ME who let him in… Claiming we were “just friends”.. It was already decided for me by the first date, that even if he wasn’t! I was gonna make him ‘The One’.. You know… I was tired of being alone, And I simply made up in my mind, that it was about that time so I decided to drag him along for the ride, Cause I was always the bridesmaid & never the bride.. A virgin in the physical, but mentally just a grown woman on the corner in heat! Who was tired of the wait! So ...

When I started this blog I put a big emphasis on the fact that it had to cover every from love to music, photography and everything else in between. For the most part I have fulfilled some of the things that I set of to do. So to day I want to share some of my most favourite photographs. For those who know me know that photography is a very big part of who I am, besides church of course...this one is one of my favourite photographs of my cousin her smiling at the camera as if she was made to be in front of the camera, she is one of the many reasons that I chose to tell stories through the camera lens....

Records and record players still exist after all these years!!!!!!!! That was my first thought when I came face to face with a record is at my nephew’s birthday party this weekend for the first time. I was so excited about seeing one that immediately after taking a few pic’s of the record player and the records I just had to go and tell my mom. Man did she laugh at me, mainly because after 20 years of living the first time I come across my first record player.
Read one of my favourite articles for PJ, good times ... An apple a day keeps the body awake By : Nyeleti Furumele Ned health is teaming up with Virgin Active to come up with a new heath scheme to help the community of Klipfontain stay healthy and active. This scheme will help the residents understand that nutrition is the study of nutrients in food and also how the body uses these nutrients to keep it healthy and active. The scheme will also teach the residents about how to keep in shape and also to learn about the positive and negative effects of not eating healthy. It will be a fun and inter-active way of pushing the Klipfontain community to start adopting healthier food choices. Ned health will be targeting people between the ages of fourteen and sixty-five because these are all very crucial ages. It will also target housewives and women who do all the cooking in their homes. It will be teaching the community the differences between good and bad nutrition, and also t...

Putting life into perspective: Growing up might not be a fan prospect for most but we all have to do it. There is no turning back of the clock in life. So at one point or another we all have to decide what in our lives is worth keeping and what should just go into the eternal recycle bin. Because not all the things we retain in our lives are of much value in our journey on this earth, that why from time to time we should ‘clean out our closet’. Sometimes the things that you think that are worth something at the very core are not of much importance. As humans we tend to overlook the important stuff and look down on all the things that just have some sort of impact on you. We follow friends that are not very genuine in their request for friendship, who just use you for what they think you could provide for them. So this weekend I got a chance to re-examine my life and where it’s going, to look at it from an ‘objective’ point of view, to really understand what is of importance ...

Night out with the friends: My plans for Friday night included coming home to chill on the bed, eat and reading a good book. Little did I know that my friends would have a different plan, a plan including deafening music and ‘up all night’ dancing. We sang out of tune to the songs that were played and danced till our feet ached, it was so much fun we did not even feel the time moving. I just have to say it I have the best friends in the world, who just know what to do turn my frown upside down. Plus getting to meet C-jay – Christian rapper extraordinaire – at this event did not hurt one bit. Friends that stick with you through thick and thin are friends worth keeping that’s for sure. My friends rock no matter what anybody can say. P.S. Brian is awesome indeed, Thabiso too.
