Putting life into perspective:

Growing up might not be a fan prospect for most but we all have to do it. There is no turning back of the clock in life. So at one point or another we all have to decide what in our lives is worth keeping and what should just go into the eternal recycle bin. Because not all the things we retain in our lives are of much value in our journey on this earth, that why from time to time we should ‘clean out our closet’.

Sometimes the things that you think that are worth something at the very core are not of much importance. As humans we tend to overlook the important stuff and look down on all the things that just have some sort of impact on you. We follow friends that are not very genuine in their request for friendship, who just use you for what they think you could provide for them.

So this weekend I got a chance to re-examine my life and where it’s going, to look at it from an ‘objective’ point of view, to really understand what is of importance and what is not of importance. Something’s in life are just not worth it and some people don’t even need a mention in our book of life. Forget those who treat you like a commodity and appreciate those who truly see your value in their life.
Happiness is found with those who appreciate you, faults and all!!

Let’s all face it something’s and people are just not worth 10sec’s of our life. We need to get over some things and just move on. It is better to be swimming against the current on your own than to go with the flow with people who will leave when the tide hits.
