Life is on BIG hustle
Today of all days I ran into an old varsity friend. We started talking politely about how we were and how things were going in our respective lives - you know polite conversations to wile away the time.
Then he asked where was I working because he is catching the train to Braam for a meeting and I said great because that means we will be on the same train to work. Once I realised that we had enough time we started to talk about important issues, not all of them because the train ride was only 15 minutes. He went on to explain how he had started his own business and was also part of helping young entrepreneurs make it big. He then went on to tell me that he had never worked for anyone before he just took the plunge to go into business - he wasn't built to work for others.
I'm always happy when I see past varsity mates 1. Because varsity was the best three years of my life and 2. It's always great to see the people you admired or looked up to do great things in their lives. I think I was more excited than him when he told me what he was doing and all the plans he had. It proved to me that with God, determination, hard work and struggle (a lot of struggle) any and everything is possible.
Hustle and grind until things fall into place.
